A Day in the Life CathWorks, recently acquired by Medtronic, is a leader in digital health innovation. The CathWorks FFRangio® System combines artificial intelligence (AI) and computational science to derive physiologic information from routine angiograms (X-rays), eliminating the need for drug stimulation and invasive pressure wires. We are looking for a Software QA Automation Engineer to contribute across Scrum teams and help ensure software quality, reliability, and safety throughout the development lifecycle. Within the broader R&D organization, the team contributes to the development and evaluation of medical device software by bringing together clinical and application expertise, algorithm evaluation, data analysis, and insights from real-world product use. The Biomedical Engineer will contribute to the development and evaluation of medical device software by bridging clinical, user, and technical perspectives throughout the product lifecycle. The role combines deep clinical and application understanding with algorithm evaluation, data analysis, and dataset development, working closely with algorithm, software, product, clinical, and quality teams to improve product performance and support clinically relevant use. This is an onsite position based in Kfar Saba. Primary Responsibilities: • Apply in-depth knowledge of coronary angiography data to support software and algorithm development. • Plan and execute algorithm validation and performance evaluations using appropriate statistical methodologies. • Define, create, and curate representative datasets for algorithm development and evaluation, including methods and tools for data selection and labeling. • Perform hands-on evaluations of software and algorithm behavior in clinically relevant scenarios. • Analyze field feedback and real-world product use to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement. • Collaborate with algorithm, software, product, clinical, and quality teams throughout the development lifecycle • Develop data-analysis tools using MATLAB, Python, Excel, and other relevant tools. • Represent R&D during beta-site activities, including software upgrades, early field-feedback collection, and onsite support as needed. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field. • Programming and data-analysis skills, with experience using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools. • Ability to independently lead tasks end-to-end, from problem definition through execution, analysis, and clear conclusions. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a high level of spoken and written English.
