A Day in the Life The Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) business within Medtronic partners with interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and multidisciplinary heart teams to advance minimally invasive therapies for patients with severe aortic stenosis. This role supports the adoption, clinical utilization, and optimization of TAVI technologies through expert clinical consultation, procedural support, physician education, and cross-functional collaboration. This position is based in Czechia and operates in a Flex work model, combining field-based customer engagement with remote work. Travel is required as needed to support customer sites, clinical cases, training activities, and business objectives across the territory. As a Principal Technical Consultant, you will serve as the clinical and technical expert for the TAVI portfolio, partnering with healthcare professionals to support procedural success, therapy adoption, and customer education. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and clinical stakeholders while providing advanced technical expertise throughout the customer journey. Primary Responsibilities • Provide expert clinical and technical support for TAVI procedures at customer sites. • Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and physician education programs to healthcare professionals. • Guide physicians and clinical teams on appropriate product utilization and procedural best practices. • Collaborate with sales teams to develop account strategies and support therapy adoption initiatives. • Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers, sales representatives, and internal clinical teams. • Conduct on-site training and consultation to support customer competency and long-term clinical success. • Lead or contribute to territory and cross-functional projects that support business objectives and operational excellence. • Mentor colleagues and provide guidance on complex clinical, technical, and customer-related matters. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree OR master's degree with 5+ years of medical device, cardiovascular, structural heart, or clinical support experience. • Minimum 5 years of industry experience supporting healthcare professionals in a clinical, technical, or customer-facing capacity. • Experience providing clinical or technical support within catheter-based cardiovascular procedures. • Ability to travel regularly to customer sites across the assigned territory. • Fluency in Czech and English.
