Job Description GSC Business Manager Vacancy Status Yes - This posting is for an existing vacancy within the organization and is open to new applications. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Oshawa Assembly on a full-time basis. The Global Supply Chain (GSC) Business Planner supports the Oshawa Assembly GSC organization by coordinating business planning, performance management, financial forecasting, safety and compliance activities, and cross-functional initiatives. This role helps ensure GSC priorities are aligned, tracked, and executed across the plant. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate GSC business planning routines, including KPI reviews, BPD updates, action tracking, and plant and business plan meetings. • Analyze financial information, complete monthly true-ups, and support forecasting and cost-management activities. • Partner with GSC leaders and cross-functional teams to identify issues, improve processes, and support execution of business priorities. • Support safety, training, dangerous goods, export compliance, and workplace transportation requirements through accurate tracking, reporting, and follow-up. • Prepare and communicate clear updates, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at multiple levels. • Contribute to GMS, continuous improvement, employee engagement, and One Team initiatives. • Support digital enablement within GSC by helping develop and implement dashboards, workflow improvements, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that improve visibility, decision-making, and productivity. • Help establish standard work, governance, and user adoption for new digital and AI capabilities. Required Qualifications and Experience • Successful conpletion of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, business planning, finance, analytics, or continuous improvement. • Experience with Microsoft Excel and digital reporting or visualization tools. • Exposure to Power BI, automation, SQL, Python, or AI applications is an asset. • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. Core Competencies • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present clear updates, insights, and recommendations. • Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence across functions. • Ability to translate business needs into practical process, technology, and performance improvements. • Adaptability, initiative, and commitment to learning and applying new digital capabilities. Compensation The salary range for this role is $97,800.00 to $146,600.00. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
