About the role

Senior Product Security Engineer Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to join our Training Systems Product Security Engineering (PSE) team located in Berkeley, MO .   This critical role supports the Fighters Program training systems by driving cybersecurity compliance and resiliency throughout the full product lifecycle, including requirements development, design, analysis, testing, certification, and sustainment. Operating within a multi-disciplinary team focused on leading-edge defense platforms, the engineer will implement and maintain security controls in alignment with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), JSIG, and NISPOM standards. Responsibilities include conducting thorough security assessments, advising on risk mitigation, coordinating with internal and external partners to define cybersecurity requirements, and executing validation activities to support program certification and regulatory compliance. The position demands strong independent execution combined with effective collaboration across diverse engineering and stakeholder teams. In joining Boeing, you are going to be a part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team of engineers, operating across platforms, using the latest tools and methodologies. Position Responsibilities:  • Support development, implementation, and sustainment of product security across the full lifecycle by developing and refining system requirements, architectures, and certification‑ready designs • Coordinate with internal and external partners (systems, software, hardware, customers, suppliers, and industry) to define cybersecurity requirements, artifacts, activities, and solutions • Conduct security assessments (threat analyses, risk assessments, audits), identify assets/vulnerabilities, risk documentation, and mitigation tracking through closure • Advise stakeholders on assessment results and provide actionable recommendations to improve architecture, designs, and software assurance • Establish, integrate, and implement product security standards, processes, and controls to meet program, certification, and regulatory requirements (e.g., JSIG, DoD RMF, NISPOM) • Support cyber test and validation activities, including tabletop exercises and verification of security controls, scan result analysis, and preparation of objective evidence for audits and reviews • Work independently executing cybersecurity tasking to completion in a teaming environment   This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.   Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):   • Bachelor Degree • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance • 9+ years of experience in development, integration, validations, and verification of cyber security systems • 5+ years of experience working within the DoD Risk Managed Framework (RMF) • 3+ years of engineering/technical experience on aircraft, mission systems or training solutions Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science • 10+ years of experience in the field of Cybersecurity, anti-tamper and/or secure computing and knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) policies and requirements related to Cybersecurity • 3+ years of experience with cybersecurity leadership overseeing programs and teams, authorizing risk decisions, coordinating stakeholders, and improving security and compliance • 5+ years experience in systems/product security engineering for avionics, supporting integration of securi
