About the role
Job Title Acceptance Inspector Job Description Help ensure high-quality, compliant products by performing inspections, documenting nonconformances, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with operations to resolve issues and achieve performance goals. Your role: • Helps to perform inspection of purchased finished goods received at the warehouse in a timely manner and adheres to established guidelines to ensure the quality and conformity of the goods as per specified standards before they are further processed or distributed. Performs timely final release acceptance activities for postponement/late customization within the warehouse. • Supports the execution of delivery holds and certain hold activities as directed, contributing to ensuring product quality and compliance with standards. • Helps in the assessments of supplier capabilities, executes protocols related to quality assurance, and ensures the integrity of purchased components for sustained product quality and compliance. • Assists in maintaining daily management boards, collects data required to facilitate the tracking of onsite processes and operational key performance indicators (KPIs), and reports to management for informed decision-making • Conducts quality notification (QN) processes from creation to closure, maintains all quality system records such as non-conformance reports (NCM) accurately and in compliance with established procedures. Supports lean initiatives and contributes to continuous improvement and complete QEKs (quick and easy Kaizens). You're the right fit if: • You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control in any regulated industry. • Your skills include a working familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and an understanding of quality system requirements. • You have at least a high school diploma. • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Production/Assembler position. • You’re a team-oriented professional with strong accountability, attention to detail, and an ability to manage multiple tasks. Philips Transparency Details The pay range for this position in Pennsylvania is $21.00 to $33.00 per hour (overtime eligible). The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
