A Day in The Life Of: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, verification, and maintenance of software for medical device products. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while providing technical leadership, mentoring, and support for continuous improvement initiatives. Primary Responsibilities • Design, develop, and verify software for medical device products in compliance with applicable software development standards, including IEC 62304. • Collaborate with product, systems, test, and architecture teams to define technical solutions and deliver project objectives. • Lead software development activities, including effort estimation, planning, and technical execution across project phases. • Conduct technical reviews of requirements, architecture, design documentation, source code, and other engineering deliverables. • Mentor and support software engineers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and software engineering best practices. • Develop and maintain software using modern programming languages, frameworks, and development tools. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance software quality, development efficiency, and team effectiveness. • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of compliant, high-quality software products. • Utilise AI-assisted tools to accelerate implementation, code review, and debugging; holding AI-generated contributions to the same quality and safety bar as hand-authored code Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree (Level 8) in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline and a minimum of 4 years of relevant software engineering experience; or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant software engineering experience. • Experience developing software using established software development lifecycle p
