Job Description The Trade Services organization is hiring a Custody Operations Analyst 2 to join the Manual Trades Entry team. The team supports the manual processing of domestic and global trade instructions to ensure timely and accurate settlement. The Analyst is responsible for the management and oversight of Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, & Institutional Banking (WCIB) client accounts and products of various types and sizes established by clients for various purposes. Provides technical, industry, process, and trouble-shooting support for products or accounts to a team of operation Specialists within their own unit/discipline. Primary focus is on day-to-day deliverables, developing solutions based upon subject expertise, occasionally representing the department at a broader level; may also contribute to strategic planning within area of expertise. Accountable for the completion of daily processing activities. Delivers a high level of customer service and is responsible for the identification of and minimization of risk in the control environment, process efficiency and effective customer issue resolution. Responsibilities have various levels of risk correlating to the type and size of account or product. May be required to provide supervisory responsibilities and apply independent judgement and decision making based on area of expertise. Key Responsibilities • Serve as a senior resource for Specialists and Analyst I team members, providing guidance, support, and subject matter expertise across daily operations. • Act as a primary point of contact for operational escalations, conducting detailed research and analysis to identify root causes and drive resolution. • Support team development through training, coaching, knowledge sharing, and onboarding assistance. • Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and overall team effectiveness. • Leverage reporting, analytics, and technology solutions to monitor performance, identify trends, and support business decision-making. • Analyze complex operational issues and collaborate with business partners to implement effective solutions. • Maintain a strong understanding of trade processing activities while providing higher-level operational support and investigative oversight. • Assist with testing, procedure development, and implementation of operational enhancements and process changes. • Adapt to changing business priorities and support critical initiatives across the team as needed. • Promote continuous improvement by contributing innovative ideas and helping the team maximize the use of reporting, analytics, and automation tools. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm CST. Basic Qualifications - Three years or more of related experience Preferred Skills/Experience - Bachelor's degree - Experience in Trade Services or related operations environment - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills - Demonstrated ability to investigate issues, manage escalations, and resolve complex operational challenges - Advanced attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality - Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environme
