About the role

Help us get ahead of disease together with our Finance (Financial Planning & Forecasting) Team, 2027:     Education required:  BS degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Finance/Accounting discipline. Other requirements:  Must be enrolled at a university for the duration of your program. Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English. Apply for a GSK Internship today!    A GSK internship offers you the opportunity to kickstart your career – to take on a real role with genuine impact!  You’ll take on challenging, serious work on live projects or assignments.  You’ll also get to learn from us, develop your skills and gain valuable experience for wherever the future takes you.   What will you do? • Provide support to market with the preparation of 3+1 Plan (Taiwan & Korea)   • Accountable for creating, updating and maintaining financial model, provide detailed monthly and quarterly forecasts for the markets (Taiwan)  • Performs analytics and variance analysis helping markets to drive market performance  • Submission of Plan, CMF into BISON/SAC and assist in annual cost flip process  • Drive Planning & Forecasting process improvement for markets and scale to the KL Hub  What will you learn?    • Data Analysis Skills: Learn how to work with large datasets, clean data, and use analytics tools to extract meaningful insights.  • Forecasting Techniques: Gain exposure to forecasting methodologies and tools used to predict demand, supply, and financial outcomes in a global business.  • Business Understanding: Develop a deeper understanding of GSK’s operations, including supply chain management, financial planning, and market dynamics.  • Technology Proficiency: Build your skills in tools such as Excel, Power BI, SAC, SAP, and other software used in forecasting and planning.  • Collaboration Skills: Work with diverse teams across departments, improving teamwork and communication in a professional environment.  • Professional Development: Enhance your adaptability, resilience, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.    What are we looking for?    • Strong written & oral communication skills   • Deadline driven, flexible with self-reliance to work in an empowered environment  • Proactive attitude to drive process improvement.   • Awareness and ability to work within culturally diverse teams.  • Adaptability to change and work under pressure.  • Strong problem-solving skills driven by curiosity.  • Proficient in use of IT and software/ systems (Power BI will be an advantage), especially Excel skills.     What do we offer you? • Understand and experience the GSK Culture • Work with a diversified team of professionals • Implement technical knowledge and skills that you have acquired at school • Apply and develop soft skills such as interpersonal, communications and negotiation skills • Transport to and from office to Asia Jaya LRT stations (only for Quill 9, APAC Regional Hub)   Let’s do this!
