Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Human Resources Director supporting the Navigation, Intelligence, and Connectivity (NIC) Division. This position will be located in the San Diego, CA office and is not a remote position. The Division HR Director serves as a strategic business partner providing day-to-day support to the NIC Division Leadership Team (DLT) in accomplishment of business objectives. The primary function of the role is to be a strategic partner and consultant to the business to ensure we have a human capital strategy in place to attract, engage, develop and retain the talent necessary to meet the strategic goals of the business for today and for the future. The selected candidate will lead a team of HR business partners responsible for executing the HR strategy and will lead human capital programs and core processes including but not limited to talent acquisition, talent assessment and development, performance management, employee relation, total rewards, succession planning and talent pipeline development, organization effectiveness and leadership development. The person in this role is responsible for leading transformative projects and initiative requiring strategic thought leadership, organizational and project management skills in a high paced environment, ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities. Successful candidates will have a strategic mindset, tolerance of ambiguity and strength in building relationships and driving business outcomes. Candidate must demonstrate executive level communication skills, ability to collaborate with senior executive leaders, ability to leverage data and analytics to drive business outcomes and a results-oriented focus aligned to our business goals, leadership behaviors, and values.
