The NVIDIA Ignite Application will be open from 10/5/2026 - 10/18/2026 The NVIDIA Ignite program gives you everything you need to start building your career—a whole lot earlier than you might expect. This inclusive, 12-week summer pre-internship program was created to give current first and second year undergrad students, from a variety of backgrounds, a chance to work hands-on with real technical experts on real projects. It’s a fully immersive experience covering the products, culture, and ecosystem that makes NVIDIA a truly unique place to ignite your career. The 12-week Ignite Internship is located on-site at Santa Clara, CA. NVIDIA will cover one-time round trip expense for students traveling over 50 miles to Santa Clara and provide a supplemental housing stipend to assist with living expenses over the summer. Potential Internships in this field include: • AI Developer Technology • ASIC Physical Design and Timing • GPU Verification and Design • Hardware ASIC • Hardware CPU Infrastructure • Hardware Infrastructure Content/Performance • Power Architect What we need to see: • Must be a first-year (class of 2030) or second year (class of 2029) undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree at a four-year university in the United States in either of the following: EE, CE, CS, Mathematics, or a related field • Anticipated graduation date (month and year) must be clearly indicated on your resume to be considered • Demonstrate passion through involvement in relevant clubs, leadership roles, extracurricular projects, and more • Enrolled in courses in computing and engineering, specifically geared towards Hardware basics • Basic knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages C, C++, Python, Perl, MATLAB • Creativity and problem-solving mentality; willingness to develop new skills; ability to adapt to new experiences • The desire to learn new concepts and tools in a growing and evolving workspace Ways to stand out from the crowd: • Students seeking their first relevant industry or corporate internship experience • Demonstrated initiative to learn about technology, computers, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, parallel computing, etc. • Basic knowledge of one of the following CAD Skills: Catia, SiemensNX, Solidworks Creo • Understanding of VLSI Design, Computer Architecture, Computer Arithmetic, CMOS Transistors, and Circuits • Basic knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL • Background in modern GPU API’s (CUDA, OpenCL) Why NVIDIA?
