Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum salary for a Singapore Employment Pass?

The standard minimum is SGD 5,600 a month. In effect from 2025-01-01, per www.mom.gov.sg. These figures were last reviewed on 2026-10-01.

Is the threshold gross or net pay?

Gross pay, before tax. Minimum rises with age (to S$10,700 at 45+); financial services start at S$6,200. Rises to S$6,000 from 1 Jan 2027.

If my salary clears the threshold, will I get the visa?

Not automatically. Salary is one requirement: the employer must be able to sponsor you, the role must be eligible, and the immigration authority makes the decision.

Does SponsorApply charge for jobs or visas?

No. SponsorApply never charges for jobs or visas. Anyone asking you to pay for a job offer or a visa is a red flag.
