About the role

We're looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Juárez, Mexico. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in optimizing our manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring operational excellence. • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while maintaining strict adherence to safety and compliance standards • Conduct comprehensive process analysis using advanced methodologies  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, production, and supply chain to ensure seamless process execution and continuous enhancement • Apply problem-solving techniques (8D, Fishbone, 5Why, 6Sigma/Shainin) to investigate root causes and develop sustainable solutions for manufacturing challenges • Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures that reflect best practices and regulatory requirements • Monitor production metrics and key performance indicators, analyzing data to drive informed decision-making and support goal achievement • Lead or participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and enhance operational performance • Coordinate with equipment vendors and maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment performance, troubleshooting issues, and minimizing downtime • Support new product launches by developing manufacturing strategies, production plans, and resource requirements aligned with customer specifications • Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders and customers to understand requirements, address concerns, and build collaborative relationships • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and manufacturing innovations to keep our processes competitive and forward-thinking • Substantial knowledge of product design, manufacturing processes, and production systems with proven experience in a manufacturing environment • Proficiency with manufacturing engineering tools and methodologies  • Strong expertise in problem-solving methods such as 8D, Fishbone Diagram, 5Why analysis, 6Sigma, and Shainin techniques • Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement frameworks • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing planning tools • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to use inductive and deductive reasoning • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across different departments and regions • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships across diverse teams and cultures (intercultural competencies) • High level of intellectual curiosity and open-mindedness to identify, analyze, and solve complex manufacturing challenges • Project management capabilities with experience leading or supporting process improvement initiatives • Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and quality assurance requirements relevant to manufacturing operations • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data analysis and reporting tools • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience) • Bilingual capability in Spanish and English is preferred for this location-based role • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in manufacturing engineering
