About the Team The Accounts Payable team manages all global invoices, supplier profiles, and supplier settlements while driving projects related to automation and efficiencies. The team partners with Workday on Workday (WoW) and Product teams to enhance, test, and uptake Workday functionality. About the Role Workday is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to support invoice processing and contribute to a growing, fast-paced organization. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working with cross-functional teams and external suppliers. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with diverse stakeholders, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is motivated to improve processes while maintaining accuracy and compliance in Accounts Payable operations. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day Accounts Payable activities and ensuring timely, accurate processing of financial transactions. Responsibilities include: • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal business partners and external suppliers. • Process Accounts Payable transactions accurately and efficiently to ensure financial records are current and reliable. • Support month-end close activities and complete assigned team responsibilities on time. • Investigate and resolve invoice processing escalations. • Resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and payments. • Support Accounts Payable projects, including process improvements, accounting controls, and integration activities. • Provide accounting and control support for projects, mergers and acquisitions, and team initiatives. • Lead team meetings and help drive alignment across Accounts Payable activities. • Document, update, and maintain Accounts Payable procedures. • Participate in training and development opportunities to strengthen job knowledge. • Contribute to team and organizational goals by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls. About You Basic Qualifications • 5+ years of relevant Accounts Payable, accounting, finance, or related experience. Preferred Qualifications • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred. • Experience working in an accounting and controls-focused environment. • Ability to meet deadlines and manage responsibilities within target timelines. • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements preferred. • Strong digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
