The Monetization and Contract Success (MACS) team sits within Monetization Services and helps Stripe execute complex commercial agreements efficiently and accurately. The team partners across the deal and contract lifecycle to reduce friction, improve deal velocity, support scalable commercial constructs, and deliver a seamless user experience after contract execution. What you’ll do We’re looking for a Monetization and Contract Success (MACS) Specialist to join our growing team. In this high-impact role, you will guide complex commercial agreements through pre-signature review from a supportability lens - helping ensure that contractual terms are clear, operationally feasible, and can be accurately implemented in Stripe’s systems. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to resolve issues, strengthen controls, improve workflows, and develop scalable solutions that increase deal-cycle efficiency and reduce downstream user friction. Responsibilities • Serve as a subject-matter expert across the commercial contract lifecycle, answering questions and advising deal owners on the supportability elements of sales contract reviews • Review and interpret commercial and legal terms, identify operational requirements and potential risks, and prepare agreements or deal inputs for review under established guidelines. • Partner with Deal Pricing, Deal Strategy, Commercial Legal, Business Practices, Accounting, Billing, Tax, Sales Operations, Engineering, and account teams to align commercial objectives with operational capabilities. • Review and, where appropriate, advise on commercial terms, balancing user needs, Stripe’s objectives, operational feasibility, and risk. • Own the feedback loop with Pricing Activation for accurate and timely onboarding of custom contracts and pricing terms into Stripe’s billing and financial systems. • Manage contract and deal workflows in relevant systems, maintain clear documentation, and provide proactive communication on status, dependencies, and next steps. • Support the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including inquiries, escalations, implementation troubleshooting, billing-related issues, and post-execution corrections. • Build scalable, auditable processes and controls that balance and improve contract quality, activation accuracy, deal velocity, and the user experience. • Analyze operational data and recurring issues to identify root causes, measure performance, and recommend process or system improvements. • Partner with Engineering and internal systems teams to translate operational needs into durable tooling, automation, and workflow enhancements. • Support internal and external audits, key programs, and other cross-functional
