About the role
Job Title: Capability Lead Location: Warsaw Model: hybrid 3+2 Role Purpose This role is accountable building, and sustaining capability across CM&S, ensuring the organisation has the skills, behaviours, and ways of working required to operate an end-to-end, data-driven operating model. Key Responsibilities 1. Own CM&S Capability Framework • - Define and maintain the capability model across CM&S (skills, behaviours, knowledge, proficiency levels) • - Align capability framework with key processes, business outcomes and digital strategy 2. Capability Development & Workforce Strategy • - Identify capability gaps and define workforce development priorities • - Support strategic workforce planning aligned to future capability needs 3. Learning Ecosystem • Develop and sustain structured learning pathways • Work with BPOs/SMEs & external partners to build focused learning content • Partner across operations and the enterprise more broadly to identify learning material & our experiences, championing and driving engagement with them in CM&S • Own onboarding and continuous development frameworks • Development and ownership of career pathways 4. Embed Capability into BAU • Ensure capability is embedded in governance forums, KPIs and role expectations • Develop and implement capability maturity assessments Key Accountabilities • CM&S capability framework defined and adopted • Measurable uplift in planning and digital capability Essential Skills/Experience • Experience delivering capability building and organizational development in large organisations • Experience delivering digital capability uplifting in large organisations • Practical understanding of learning and development approaches • Proven experience of building targeted interventions to build and maintain capability • Knowledge of supply chain management &/or manufacturing Desired Skills/Experience • Knowledge of clinical study delivery Operating Model - Permanent enterprise role with matrix leadership across CM&S Date Posted 07-paź-2026 Closing Date 22-paź-2026 AstraZeneca embraces diversity and equality of opportunity.
