About the role
Manages the supplier relationship for a defined set of suppliers (“voice to the supplier”) within category. Assumes responsibility for supplier-specific target achievement. Negotiates contracts and business terms (e.g. corporate agreement, payment terms…). Performs (annual) price negotiations. Undertakes supplier risk management (preventive and reactive) in alignment with PUR-RS. Assumes quality responsibility in cooperation with PUQ-E. Manages supplier capacities in cooperation with LOG. Manages escalations with suppliers (e.g. delivery, quality) according to defined escalation model. Actively contributes to development and implementation of category strategy by providing inputs from region, product lines and supplier. Manages/ provides relevant purchasing data for ERP systems in cooperation with PUR-O. Leads RFQ, if appointed by the respective category manager.
