A Day in the Life The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) function partners with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and site leadership teams to build and sustain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. This role leads the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of EHS programs to support regulatory compliance, risk reduction, employee well-being, and operational excellence across the Juarez manufacturing site. This position is based in Juarez, Mexico and follows an onsite work model, requiring regular presence at the facility to support operations, employee engagement, and site-wide EHS initiatives. Job Description field The EHS Manager is responsible for leading site Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company requirements while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The role partners with site leadership to identify risks, implement preventive measures, and drive EHS performance across all operational areas. Primary Responsibilities • Lead the site's Environmental, Health, and Safety strategy, programs, and compliance activities. • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and corporate EHS requirements. • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, standards, and training programs. • Conduct risk assessments and drive corrective and preventive actions to reduce workplace hazards. • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of sustainable corrective actions. • Monitor EHS performance metrics and provide regular reporting to site and regional leadership. • Partner with manufacturing, engineering, facilities, and quality teams to integrate EHS requirements into operations and projects. • Support environmental management activities, including waste management, emissions control, and sustainability initiatives. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of Environmental, Health, and Safety experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years of Environmental, Health, and Safety experience. • Experience managing EHS programs within a manufacturing environment. • Experience with regulatory compliance, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action management. • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at multiple organizational levels. • Proficiency in English and Spanish. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated manufacturing operations. • Professional certification in Environmental, Health, or Safety disciplines. • Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems. • Experience leading EHS audits and regulatory inspections. • Experience driving continuous improvement and safety culture initiatives.
