About the role

About Life360 Life360’s mission is to keep people close to the ones they love. Our category-leading mobile app, Tile tracking devices, and Pet GPS tracker empower members to protect the people, pets, and things they care about most with a range of services, including location sharing, safe driver reports, and crash detection with emergency dispatch. Life360 serves approximately 102.4 million monthly active users (MAU), as of June 30, 2026, across more than 180 countries. Life360 delivers peace of mind and enhances everyday family life with seamless coordination for all the moments that matter, big and small. By continuing to innovate and deliver for our customers, we have become a household name and the must-have mobile-based membership for families (and those friends who are basically family). Life360 has more than 500 (and growing!) remote-first employees. For more information, please visit life360.com . Life360 is a Remote-First company, which means a remote work environment will be the primary experience for all employees. All positions, unless otherwise specified, can be performed remotely (within the US) regardless of any specified location above. We are AI Native We are building an AI native company where AI is an integral part of how we build and operate. AI tool usage during interviews varies by role. You may be asked to demonstrate proficiency with AI tools, discuss how you leverage AI, or complete interview exercises without AI assistance. Your Recruiter will provide clear guidance as you move through the interview process. Undisclosed use of AI not previously discussed with or approved by your Recruiter may impact your candidacy. About The Team The Services/Identity team in Foundations owns the systems that decide who our members are and whether they can get in: account creation, sign-in, session management, and recovery for families across more than 180 countries. You'll work hand in hand with Security, Engineering, Data, Customer Care, Legal/Privacy, and our Growth/Onboarding teams to ensure members can access Life360 easily and worry free while protecting those systems from an increasingly sophisticated threat landscape. About the Job Every Life360 moment starts with a sign-in. A parent opens the app to check on a teen's first drive. A grown child makes sure their aging parent arrives home safely. A family shares their live location to coordinate with neighbors on a trip. If the wrong person gets into an account, or a loved one gets locked out, we've created a trust-breaking moment. Identity is the front door to our members' most sensitive data, and it has to be effortless and secure. We are looking for a seasoned product leader with a strong point of view on how to make that true at global scale. In this role, you'll own and execute the strategy for how Life360 determines who our members are and keeps them safe: identity, authentication, account sign-in, and account recovery. You'll own the problem end to end, from the sign-in experiences members see to the identity services, risk signals, and data models behind them. You'll set the bar for what a world-class consumer identity experience looks like, define the metrics that prove it, and drive alignment across engineering, security, privacy, customer care, and leadership. This isn't a support role. You're a force multiplier for every team that depends on identity, working directly with Foundations and Enterprise leadership to build the practices, systems, and knowledge that keep our members' accounts safe. The US-based salary range for this position is $178,500 to $261,500 . We take into consideration an individual's background, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay may also vary based on geographic location
