About the role

Mission Lane is combining the power of data, technology, and exceptional service to pave a clear way forward for millions of people on the path to financial success. By attracting top talent and leveraging cutting-edge technology, we’re enabling people to unlock real financial progress. Sound like a mission you can get behind? We’re looking for a Senior Delivery Manager, Data & Models to own delivery across Mission Lane’s data and modeling work, from intake through deployment and ongoing maintenance, reporting to the Senior Director, Portfolio Prioritization & Delivery. The impact you’ll make: A customer opens the app and finds a credit line that has grown, a decision that came back quickly, or a next step explained in plain language. Behind each of those moments is data that is trusted and available, and often a model that has been built, validated, and approved to use it. The Senior Delivery Manager, Data & Models shapes how that work gets planned, sequenced, and delivered. Data platforms, pipelines, and products feed nearly everything we do, and models are one of the highest-stakes things built on top of them. Every initiative crosses data engineering, data science, credit, risk, and compliance, and each group works to its own rhythm and its own standards. Your puzzle is sequencing that work so the right things ship in the right order, with governance built in rather than bolted on, keeping speed and rigor in balance. Mission Lane is standing up a dedicated delivery team, and you will set the standard for how data and model work gets delivered. The teams you work with will run on a delivery approach you build and shape. What you’ll own: • The delivery roadmap for data and model initiatives across all business verticals, including milestones, dependencies, and sequencing, built with the portfolio prioritization team • A single, current view of every data and model initiative in flight, with status, risks, and next steps shared with leaders and partner teams on a regular cadence • Coordination across data engineering, data science, credit, risk, and compliance, with dependencies and unknowns surfaced early and cross-team problems driven to a solution • The delivery playbook for model development, validation, deployment, credit policy updates, and related approval flows, with clear handoff ownership at every stage • Model governance readiness, so models arrive at review complete and approvals don’t become a surprise bottleneck • Delivery practices for data work such as pipeline and platform changes, data product releases, and data quality remediation, with the same clarity on ownership and handoffs • Operational point of contact responsibilities for 2nd line credit and model risk management bank oversight • Continuous improvement of how we plan and deliver, using delivery data and retrospectives to reduce coordination overhead and rework • Informal guidance for less experienced delivery colleagues as delivery practice takes shape You’ll thrive in this role if: • You see delivery risk early. You notice the missing data dependency, the skipped validation step, or the sequencing conflict, trace it to its source, and bring a recommendation to the table. • You are at home in data-heavy work and understand how data quality, lineage, and availability shape what can ship and when. You know how models are built, validated, governed, and deployed well enough to plan around the work and discuss it credibly with the data scientists, credit partners, and model risk reviewers who do it every day. • You lead across teams you don’t manage. You build trust early, bring teams to a plan everyone understands, and explain the “why” behind new ways of working so teams adopt them and keep using them. • You make sound sequencing and p
