US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role
Getting to know GH&B
• Global Hospital & Biosimilars (GH&B) makes the products that are the foundation of hospital care — sterile injectables and biosimilars – that reach more than 100 million patients annually, generating $5 billion in revenue for Pfizer. These are not niche products; they are for when patients are at the most vulnerable, essential to access and acute care delivery worldwide.
• GH&B is Pfizer's only truly end-to-end business, spanning from our 12 global manufacturing sites through to commercial in a single integrated organization. It was created to give this portfolio dedicated focus, clearer accountability, and a fit-for-purpose operating model — recognizing that GH&B's portfolio has different economics, customer dynamics, and execution needs than Pfizer's innovative business.
• By bringing Commercial and Supply into one organization, GH&B enables faster decision-making, stronger prioritization, and expanded capabilities for this important portfolio.
• Our ambition: Rebuild a healthy operation positioned to serve patients for generations to come
Use Your Power for Purpose
• The Cluster Lead holds full P&L accountability for the commercial business across various countries across the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey — a diverse set of markets with varying scale and maturity within a predominantly mixed commercial environment combining public tenders, private market negotiations, and retail/out-of-pocket channels. Distinguished by a plant-to-patient perspective, the role spans the full commercial value chain, from portfolio and pricing strategy through tender and contracting execution to patient access, across biosimilars and generics (Oncology, Immunology/Inflammation).
• This is a build-and-shape mandate and the perfect opportunity for entrepreneurial leaders: the Cluster Lead will stand up a new cluster operating model from the ground up, setting strategic direction across in-market and launch assets while balancing standardization with calibration to local market realities.
What You Will Achieve
P&L Leadership & Resource Allocation
• Own the full P&L (~$300M) across multiple MENA , African and Turkey markets; set strategic direction across markets; manage varying revenue growth trajectories and margin profiles
• Allocate resources and prioritize portfolio investments across cluster markets based on growth potential, competitive intensity, and portfolio mix as well as maturity
• Calibrate investment across markets of varying scale and commercial model, balancing between markets with dedicated field presence and those operating through partner- or distributor-led models
• Represent cluster in global planning cycles (OP/LE, QBRs, strategic reviews)
Commercial Excellence & Portfolio Steering
• Set commercial direction for in-market assets across all cluster markets while identifying growth opportunities via portfolio expansion and partnership optimization
• Ensure contract excellence and pricing discipline across diverse commercial environments, including government tenders, private hospital negotiations, and out-of-pocket retail markets
• Shape field force effectiveness and customer engagement standards across the cluster, including oversight of partner- and distributor-led execution models where applicable
• Navigate complex and diverse procurement and commercial systems across the cluster — including public tender processes, private hospital account management, and retail/distribution channels
• Drive awareness and demand generation activities where relevant, including account-level engagement and partner-managed promotional models
• Manage CSO/distribution partnerships as well as SLA governance (scope, KPIs, transition triggers)
