US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role

What we are looking for We are seeking innovators, collaborators, and problem solvers. Our interns and co-ops  do not shy away from a challenge, and are looking for a chance to create a real impact with our company. Avery Dennison’s Internship & Co-Op Program has a single business focus to cultivate future talent for our rapidly growing organization. With a concentrated blend of experiential on-the-job learning, a dynamic environment, access to business leaders, and an encouraging team of co-workers, peers, and supervisors, the program will provide you the opportunity to sharpen your skills and collaborate on a number of strategic projects.   We’re seeking a Marketing Communications Marketing Intern  to join our business in North America for the Summer of 2027 (start date 5.24.2027)  in a full- time capacity ( approx 40 hours per week)  through August  2027 with the possibility to extend the assignment into a part time co op, ( approx 15 hours per week) while they are in school. The extension into Fall 2027 would be based on business needs. You will provide support for North America marketing operations.    What you will be doing The primary roles and responsibilities of this internship will be: • Develop an understanding of the segments in which Avery Dennison operates and the product line team organizational structure • Meet regularly with the marcom team members to gain a deep understanding of each of the 6 key areas of the function:  • Content & product support • Event management • eCommerce • Digital marketing and website management • Creative development • Channel program management • Execute a study on the competitive marketing environment for 3 key High Value Category sub-segments, translating insights into recommendations on what we could do differently to market to these niche audiences. • Compile and summarize findings and recommendations into clear, concise, and visually engaging reports and presentations that are within the brand guidelines.  • Assist in the execution of one trade marketing event alongside the events manager, learning the details of event management. This may be an industry event or a customer-facing event. • Participate in the user acceptance testing for the re-launch of the eCommerce website. Run prescribed tests on the site and report findings to the eComm specialist.  • Research one key opportunity for the Marcom team (within any of the 6 key areas) to better utilize AI (Gemini or Salesforce agents) to manage workload and output. (For example, explore how we can automate the creation of customer communications, or updates to product collateral, or potentially how we manage personal workload by using digital tools we have access to within Avery Dennison.)    What sets us apart Avery Dennison’s Summer Internship & Co-Op Program is unlike any other with its emphasis on networking, community and support. From Day 1, networking is encouraged, promoted and expected within the program. As you are on-boarded with other summer interns and Early Careers Program associates from various tracks, you quickly develop a community  of individuals all committed to make sure you have what it takes to succeed. A core component of the curriculum is the mentoring program. Paired with an Early Careers Associate or program graduate within the organization, the program focuses on the transition from college to corporate, leveraging strengths, networking and defining your early career path.   In addition, as an organization that values diversity and inclusion, we welcome our associates to take an active role in our Employee Resource Groups(ERG’s).  ERG’s are a group of employees that help advance and promote diversity, cultural awareness and an inclusive work environment.
