D365 SCM Functional Lead Consultant

Position: D365 SCM Functional Lead Consultant Experience: 6+ Years Location: Chennai, Noida, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad Employment Type: Full-Time Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred Job Summary We are seeking an experienced D365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Functional Lead Consultant with 6+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), specifically in the Supply Chain Management domain. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in leading end-to-end D365 SCM implementation projects, gathering business requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage end-to-end D365 SCM implementation projects. • Conduct business requirement gathering workshops and process mapping sessions with stakeholders. • Analyze business processes and recommend best-fit D365 SCM solutions. • Configure and implement D365 SCM modules, including: • Procurement & Sourcing • Inventory Management • Warehouse Management • Product Information Management • Master Planning • Sales Order Management • Transportation Management (preferred) • Prepare functional design documents (FDDs), business process documents, and solution documentation. • Collaborate closely with technical consultants for customization, integrations, and reporting requirements. • Participate in conference room pilots (CRP), UAT, training, and deployment activities. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and project team members. • Support data migration, testing, cutover planning, and go-live activities. • Work directly with clients to address business challenges and ensure successful project delivery. Required Skills • 6+ years of functional consulting experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / AX. • Strong expertise in D365 SCM modules and business processes. • Hands-on experience in at least 2-3 full lifecycle D365 SCM implementation projects. • Strong understanding of supply chain operations, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and planning processes. • Experience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and user training. • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills. • Ability to lead workshops, demonstrations, and business process discussions. • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project methodologies. Preferred Skills • Experience in manufacturing, retail, distribution, or logistics industries. • Knowledge of Power Platform, Power BI, and reporting solutions. • Understanding of integrations with third-party applications. • Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications. Educational Qualification • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field. • Relevant Microsoft Certifications will be an added advantage.
