About the role
This is Adyen
Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.
For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.
Group Product Manager, Revenue Platform
The Opportunity
Adyen is a full-stack payment processor and licensed global bank, serving many of the world’s largest enterprises across more than 250 payment methods and dozens of markets. One of the reasons they choose us is how we charge them. Our Interchange++ model shows interchange, scheme fees and Adyen’s own markup as separate, visible components, with no hidden fees. On top of that transparency, we offer pricing that flexes to how global businesses actually operate: by market, card type, channel, payment method or ticket size, all on one platform and one invoice.
That promise is only as good as the systems behind it. Revenue Platform is the backbone of it. We build the platform that turns every payment and every product into a correct, explainable, compliant invoice, and that gives our commercial teams the freedom to price creatively without engineering work. It also gives Finance and our customers a true view of cost and margin.
We are looking for a Group Product Manager in Chicago to lead Revenue Platform’s product managers and own the group’s strategy and results. We need a platform leader: someone who knows that the best internal platforms are measured by how much they let other teams do without them. You will set the direction for how Adyen monetizes for the next decade, on a modern event-based foundation we have already built.
What You’ll Do
• Own a Core Differentiator: Set the vision for how Adyen delivers transparent, flexible pricing to the world’s largest businesses. Decide what the platform builds, what it retires and what it deliberately leaves out, and tie every bet to customer trust, commercial growth or revenue accuracy.
• Build a Platform Others Build On: Shape revenue capabilities into reusable, well-designed services that product teams can use as they are, without workarounds. Measure success by how fast teams across Adyen can launch, price and monetize new products on their own.
• Unlock Pricing Freedom: Give commercial teams the models, data and tools to structure any deal, from transaction-value pricing to custom enterprise contracts, without bespoke engineering.
• Make Cost and Margin Visible: Extend the platform from revenue to cost, so Adyen and its customers can see what every payment truly costs and earns.
• Treat Compliance as Product: Partner with Tax, Legal and Finance to turn tax and invoicing obligations across markets into automated, auditable capabilities, with a pragmatic view of what each one requires.
• Lead & Develop Senior Talent: Hire, coach and grow a team of product managers who own their domains end to end.
• Make the Hard Calls: Align Engineering, Finance, Commercial and the many product teams that depend on the platform, without direct authority. Hold the line on platform design even when that means saying “no.”
Who You Are
• Platform Leader: You have led internal or B2B platform products with many consuming teams, and you know how to design interfaces, contracts and incentives that drive adoption.
• Product Leader: You have 8+ years in product management, including hands-on experience hiring and d
