Team mission The Marketplace Integrity team protects trust on GetYourGuide by safeguarding the platform from fraud and abuse, so that travelers, suppliers, and partners can rely on every transaction and interaction. We’re building a new Marketplace Abuse Prevention function within Marketplace Integrity to strengthen our ability to detect abuse patterns and stop them before they cause harm. The work brings together investigation based on data, policy design, and close collaboration with Product, Tech, and Business to create prevention mechanisms that scale. We’re looking for someone who thrives on building from the ground up and is excited by the chance to shape a function with real impact. Your mission • Define the vision, structure, and operating model for GetYourGuide's Marketplace Abuse Prevention function; establishing how abuse is identified, prioritised, and governed across the company • Set clear KPIs, targets, and frameworks that bring rigour and focus to a newly built function • Lead the discovery and risk mining of new and emerging abuse patterns across the marketplace and acting as the detective who surfaces what others miss • Distill insights from data analysis and internal escalations into comprehensive mitigation strategies, translating these into scalable prevention mechanisms in collaboration with Product and Tech • Build and maintain continuous monitoring systems and AI-powered detection workflows that proactively flag emerging threats at scale Your toolkit • 5+ years of experience in marketplace integrity, trust & safety, fraud, or risk management • Deep understanding of marketplace dynamics and the abuse patterns that emerge within two-sided platforms • Strong data-driven decision-making skills; you can move from raw signals to structured hypotheses and clear prioritisation frameworks • Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Tech, Business) without direct authority • Demonstrated ability to apply AI tools to detection, monitoring, or analytical workflows — with concrete examples of how this has improved your work • Excellent communication skills; you can translate complex abuse patterns into clear narratives for senior leadership and operational teams alike Extras that give you an edge • Experience building or scaling a new function or programme in a fast-moving environment • Familiarity with regulatory or policy frameworks relevant to marketplace integrity (e.g. Digital Services Act, consumer protection) • Exposure to building or evaluating machine learning-based detection models in collaboration with technical teams How we’ll make your career journey extraordinary • Annual personal growth budget and mentorship programs for continuous learning and development • Work from anywhere in the world for 30 days per year • A hybrid working approach with three days of in office collaboration (Mon, Tue, Thur) and two days of optional at home focus time. • Opportunities to collaborate and socialize with a quarterly team event budget • Access to leading AI tools plus the resources and budget to get the most out of them • Monthly transportation and fitness budget • Discounts for you, your friends, and family on GetYourGuide activities • L
