No salary bar for this route
H-1B has no fixed salary bar: the employer must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role and area. Cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level. US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role

WHY HARVEY At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come. This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. We have strong product-market fit and world-class investor support. We’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched. Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you. At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started. ROLE OVERVIEW Harvey is hiring a Head of Video to develop and direct video for our Content & Social (C&S) roadmap. You’ll bring original ideas, build recurring formats, and turn briefs into stories that work for our audience and channels. You’ll primarily develop concepts, write, creatively direct shoots, and guide the editor, with accountability for the work from briefing through delivery. You’ll be one of the first two hires in a dedicated C&S creative pod, alongside a Video Editor & Shooter. The pod sits within HCS for creative leadership, craft, and brand standards, while the C&S roadmap determines its workload and priorities. Broader HCS projects are resourced separately. You’ll work directly with C&S leads every day, from briefing through final review, translating the message, channel, and timing into a clear creative approach. You’ll partner closely with creative producers to bring your vision to life. You’ll retain overall narrative responsibility, guide the editor’s work, and bring together feedback to deliver finished assets that meet the brief and Harvey’s creative standards. The Work You Will Support The initial planning mix for the pod includes: - Supporting 1–3 recurring series each month, including executive content. - Covering 2–3 events per month and shaping the resulting footage into content for our channels. - Creating product videos with Content & Social, Product Marketing, and HCS members, including a steady drumbeat of feature videos, explainers, use cases, and demonstrations beyond launch. Recurring series will generally have longer planning cycles. Event and product launch work often needs a turnaround of one to two weeks. You’ll agree scope and priorities with C&S, accounting for capture, editing, reviews, and available production support. For product launches, the pod owns the assets on the C&S roadmap. Larger campaign and demo productions remain with the relevant HCS teams; you’ll coordinate messaging, footage, and delivery handoffs so the work connects. WHAT YOU'LL DO Creative Concepts and Recurring Formats - Proactively pitch social concepts and recurring formats that serve the C&S roadmap. Build a consistent body of work with a clear audience, purpose, and point of view. - Turn briefs into creative treatments, scripts, interview approaches, and capture plans. Establish the message, hook, narrative structure, channel versions, and timing before production. - Make deliberate choices about pacing, length, visual style, and format. Use audience response and performance insights with C&S
