Headquarters: Indianapolis, Indiana, United States URL: https://rgp.com Fully Remote Full time Indianapolis Indiana United States Consulting AI About This Role This role focuses on equipping accounting and finance professionals to harness generative AI tools—such as Claude and ChatGPT—to enhance productivity, accuracy, and insight in daily operations. The consultant will act as both a technology advisor and change enabler—driving adoption, designing training paths, and embedding AI best practices into finance workflows. Contract Rate: $90-120 per hour W2 Contract Duration: 3-4 months What You Will Work On • Develop and deliver targeted training sessions on applying Claude and ChatGPT for accounting and FP&A tasks (e.g., variance analysis, reconciliations, narrative reporting, and forecasting). • Build AI prompt libraries, templates, and governance frameworks aligned to finance controls and data privacy standards. • Evaluate process automation opportunities (closing cycles, management reporting, audit prep) using generative AI. • Coach finance teams on integrating AI into ERP, BI, and Excel-based workflows. • Partner with leadership to plan adoption strategy and define cost-benefit metrics for AI enablement. What You Will Bring • 5+ years in finance transformation, accounting operations, or analytics with exposure to AI enablement. • Proficiency with LLM tools (ChatGPT, Claude) and finance platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday Adaptive). • Strong communication skills—able to translate evolving AI capabilities into actionable outcomes for non technical users. • Experience designing training programs or leading digital adoption initiatives in corporate finance functions.
