About the role

We're looking for a senior, client-facing Engagement Manager who owns the client's success from the first scoping conversation through final acceptance. This is a services-led role that starts before the contract is signed. Once the work is underway, you are the person the client holds accountable for the outcome, and the person Mirantis holds accountable for delivering it. Our solutions are highly customized, and the engagements you run will span cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and AI workloads for both enterprise clients and cloud service providers. You may run multiple engagements at once, or a single large multi-workstream program where complexity warrants it, holding Mirantis, client, and third-party teams to a common schedule while keeping the critical path clear and the commercial health of the engagement intact. The environment is fast-evolving and frequently ambiguous. Bringing order to it is the job. You'll be the calm center of the engagement — the person who holds client confidence when the schedule slips, who escalates early rather than absorbing problems quietly, and who can move from a working session with engineers to a C-level update without changing gears. What You'll Do • Own the client's success end to end — from pre-sales scoping and solution design through contract, pilot, delivery, and acceptance — across both Enterprise and Cloud Service Provider (CSP) engagements. • Serve as the client's primary point of contact and the senior Mirantis voice on the engagement, building trust and sustaining client confidence under delivery pressure. • Partner with sales, solution architects, and engineering during pre-sales to scope and estimate custom work, author the delivery sections of the statement of work, and coordinate the internal teams needed to win the opportunity. • Run multiple concurrent client engagements, or a single large multi-workstream program where complexity and time commitment warrant it. • Translate client business objectives into executable plans, holding Mirantis, client, and third-party teams to a common schedule and a shared set of commitments. • Deliver in line with Mirantis delivery procedures — maintaining RAID logs, integrated plans and schedules, and providing clear, concise status reporting — applying the level of rigor the engagement warrants, whether the work is phased or iterative, and actively managing the critical path to remove blockers before they affect committed dates. • Manage technical delivery in coordination with Product Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services to meet client objectives. • Ensure client readiness by coordinating the infrastructure, dependencies, and prerequisites the client owns, and hold third-party vendors and subcontractors to their timeline and quality commitments. • Own the commercial health of the engagement — scope, change, and the delivery inputs that drive its financial performance — identifying and documenting scope creep as it arises, driving the change order process, and partnering with Services Operations on measurement and reporting. • Identify and communicate risks early, ensuring all stakeholders have clear visibility, and drive mitigation plans across internal and client teams. • Report status across the full stakeholder spectrum, from project teams to Mirantis and client executive and C-level leadership. •  Identify opportunities through ongoing delivery to expand Mirantis’ engagement with the client, and work with Sales to develop follow-on work based on client needs, emerging requirements, and evolving business priorities. • Improve delivery processes and collateral, and mentor the project managers on the team. What You Bring • 10+ years in project or program management leading complex, client-facing solution
