Internship Details: · Start date: November 2026 · Duration: 12 months · Locations : Mthatha, East London (Eastern Cape) · Working hours: Full-time · Work model: Field-based and office-based, with regular travel to customer facilities Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: · Support commercial growth within assigned accounts and the broader territory · Provide clinical and technical support before, during and after procedures · Assist with case preparation, product demonstrations, installations and first-line product support, as appropriate to the role · Respond to technical and application-related queries from sales colleagues and external stakeholders · Help deliver on-site education, consultation and customer follow-up while following Medtronic policies and hospital protocols Required Knowledge and Skills: · Recently graduated with a degree in a medical or health-related field · Proficiency in English, with clear written and verbal communication skills · Able to travel to support customer needs · Must be currently unemployed · Must be a South African citizen · Must be under the age of 30 · Must not have participated in a YES programme previously · Should not be currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in postgraduate studies · Commits to complete 12-month internship Would be a Plus: · A valid driver’s licenc · Customer-focused communication, teamwork, adaptability and a strong willingness to learn on the job Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
