About the role

Job Title: Spain Customer Supply Chain Manager (18 month Secondment)  Job Purpose Partner with Commercial, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Legal, and Communications and Government Affairs (CGA) stakeholders to align local market requirements with regional supply chain activities. Act as the link between local markets and regional supply chain teams, supporting demand and supply planning, customer service, warehousing, distribution, and product availability. Monitor supply risks and constraints, assess impacts on patients and business operations, and support the development, communication, and execution of mitigation plans. Collaborate with trade customers and distribution partners to provide market insights that support inventory optimization, reduce write-offs, improve working capital, and enhance logistics, distribution, and route-to-market models. Responsibilities • Act as a supply chain business partner to Local Operating Company (LOC) stakeholders, supporting business objectives and regional supply chain priorities. • Collaborate with regional supply planning teams to review current and future supply requirements and participate in Supply Chain Issue Management (SCIM) meetings as required. • Manage supply constraints and lead regular LOC meetings with Commercial, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance stakeholders to support continuity of supply. • Partner with distributors and trade customers to support commercial objectives and address market requirements. • Gather and share insights on demand management, sales fluctuations, market trends, and competitive activity to support planning and decision-making. • Collaborate with demand planning teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce stock write-offs. • Act as the link between the LOC and the Regional Customer Service Hub to support service delivery and customer requirements. • Oversee Order-to-Cash in-market service providers and support cost-to-serve, logistics, and distribution efficiency initiatives. • Support route-to-market and distribution model decisions for the local market. • Lead supply chain activities for portfolio changes, including product launches, discontinuations, divestments, and price changes. Required • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or related field • Experience in supply planning, demand planning, warehousing, customer service, logistics, or related supply chain functions. • Experience collaborating with commercial, sales, and marketing teams. • English and Spanish language skills sufficient to communicate effectively in a professional environment, both written and spoken. • Exposure to end-to-end supply chain processes. • Stakeholder engagement, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Preferred • APICS certification or an equivalent supply chain qualification. • Experience in a Pharma or regulated industry. • Experience working across regional or international teams. • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and business performance objectives.
