Job Category Technology Compensation Overview The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards. The Assistant Vice President of Digital Applications Architecture will report directly to the Chief Architect and help shape the long-term strategy for this area. This is a rare opportunity — to meet the scale and ambition of a Dow 30 insurer that is serious about the customer and agent experience What Will You Do? • Scope: Your scope is broad and consequential. You will own end-to-end experience-enablement technical strategy across our internal and external digital properties, Sales and Service, Call Center, Agency Lifecycle Management, and Marketing, focused on a deeper understanding of our customers and producers and enhancing and simplifying their experience.  On the Sales, Service and Omni-Channel side, you will drive our Data 360 and Agentforce strategy, guide major business unit Salesforce initiatives, and set direction for our contact-center and conversational AI capabilities including Genesys. You will also architect our approach to marketing and content platforms — including AI-enabled content management across Unily and Optimizely and agentic-engine optimization for our external-facing marketing presence. • You will lead a team of architects aligned to our Digital Applications Value Stream, bringing at least a decade of architecture experience — ideally grounded in financial services or insurance — along with a proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire high-performing technical teams. • Beyond the customer-facing platforms, you will own architecture accountability for Agency Lifecycle Management, oversee our high-stakes Producer Lifecycle modernization effort, and set the technical direction for Customer Intelligence & Activation strategic investment. You will guide your team's work across these platforms with an eye toward AI-first thinking, and you will champion the integration of architecture and emerging technology so that Travelers' digital experiences remain modern, resilient, and differentiated in the market.
