US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

About the role
As a Product Manager at Reonic , you’ll own product problems from discovery through execution. You’ll work closely with customers, product, design, and engineering to understand what users need, define the right solutions, and bring them to life. A strong focus of your role will be shaping the UX and UI of our product — from improving existing workflows to designing entirely new experiences. You’ll combine product thinking with a strong eye for design, constantly asking: What problem are we solving, for whom, and how can we make the experience as simple and valuable as possible? You’ll have significant ownership and the opportunity to directly shape how the product looks, feels, and works. Please note: This is a fully onsite role in Augsburg. What you'll do • Own product problems end-to-end: Take ownership of product areas from discovery and problem definition through prioritization, design, development, launch, and iteration. • Shape the user experience: Design intuitive, efficient, and delightful experiences across the product. Turn complex workflows into simple solutions that users can understand and adopt quickly. • Understand our users: Talk to customers, analyze feedback and usage data, identify pain points, and develop a deep understanding of how renewable installers work. • Think beyond the brief: Challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and make sure we’re solving the right problem rather than simply building what was initially requested. • Design and prototype: Work hands-on with wireframes, prototypes, and UI concepts to explore solutions quickly. Iterate with users and the team before investing heavily in development. • Set the UX/UI bar: Maintain a high standard for usability, consistency, accessibility, and visual quality across the product. • Balance user and business needs: Make thoughtful product trade-offs based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and available data. • Work closely with engineering: Collaborate with engineers throughout the product development process, communicate requirements clearly, and make pragmatic decisions when trade-offs arise. • Iterate after launch: Treat shipping as the beginning, not the end. Measure outcomes, collect feedback, identify opportunities, and continuously improve the product experience. • Leverage AI in your workflow: Use AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, analysis, and product development. What Makes You a Great Fit • Product experience: 2+ years of experience in product management, product design, UX/UI, or a similar product-focused role, ideally in a startup or fast-growing product environment. • Strong product sense: You naturally think about customer problems, business impact, and outcomes rather than simply features and output. • UX/UI expertise: You have a strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and usability. You care deeply about how a product feels to use. • Hands-on approach: You’re comfortable getting into Figma, creating wireframes and prototypes, testing ideas, and iterating on designs yourself. • Customer obsession: You enjoy talking to users and can translate qualitative feedback and observed behavior into clear product opportunities. • Comfort with ambiguity: You can take an unclear problem, structure it, identify what matters, and move towards a solution without needing every detail defined upfront. • Strong communication: You can clearly explain product decisions, design rationale, and trade-offs to engineers, designers, leadership, and other stakeholders. • Ownership: You take responsibility for outcomes, make decisions, and follow problems through from initial idea to measurable impact. • Technical curiosity: You enjoy working closely w
