US H-1B: cap-subject employers enter a lottery weighted by wage level — Level I gets 1 entry, Level IV gets 4 (DHS projected selection odds ≈15% at Level I to ≈61% at Level IV). Universities and non-profit research employers are cap-exempt. The $100,000 fee for new petitions from abroad is currently blocked by a court order (appeal pending).

What We Need to See: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related area (or equivalent experience). • Over 12 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, operations analytics, or business intelligence. • Strong experience analyzing warehouse, transportation, inventory, order fulfillment, or supply chain performance data. • Demonstrated proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization software. • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, and SAP TM. • Experience with Python, R, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar analytical/data platforms. • Knowledge of global transportation, freight forwarding, customs, warehousing, reverse logistics, and fulfillment operations. • Experience working within high-growth, technology, semiconductor, AI infrastructure, or data-center supply chains. Ways to Stand Out from the crowd: • Analytical Depth: Ability to move beyond reporting what happened to explaining why it happened and what action should be taken. • Supply Chain Acumen: Strong understanding of how warehouse, inventory, transportation, and fulfillment processes interact. • Data Storytelling: Ability to convert complex datasets into concise, executive-level insights. • Operational Approach: Focus on analytics that drive measurable improvements rather than reporting for reporting's sake. • Systems Thinking: Ability to connect business processes, system events, master data, and operational outcomes.
