Position Summary The Innovation & Technology Software Engineering: Platform & Applications Internship is a 10.5-week full-time opportunity that starts on May 24th, 2027, and concludes on August 4th, 2027. This is a hybrid position with 3 days (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in the following office locations: • Hartford, CT • Dallas, TX • Scottsdale, AZ • Woonsocket, RI The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice. CVS Health follows a hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that need to move over 50 miles.  As a CVS Health Corporate intern, you will participate in:  • Projects that contribute to the success of our business • Community service activities  • Professional development workshops  • Mentorship and networking opportunities  • Interaction with senior leaders   Your Innovation & Technology internship experience will also include: • Leadership Insight Series, featuring leader spotlights and interactive Q&A sessions • Intern Innovation Challenge, providing opportunities to collaborate with fellow interns across Innovation & Technology • Additional learning experiences focused on topics such as impactful presentations and storytelling, emerging technology, and AI tools The hourly rate is $35.00-$38.50/hr with 40 hours/week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Wage is dependent on final office location and team assignment. Additionally, our corporate interns have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a future role with CVS Health. Sponsorship Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.  About this business area These interns help design, build, test, and deploy software solutions that support customer, member, provider, and colleague experiences. They work across applications, APIs, cloud platforms, integrations, automation, and modern engineering practices. You will gain valuable work experience and participate in: • Develop web or mobile application features • Build APIs and microservices • Automate testing and deployment pipelines • Deploy applications to cloud environments • Optimize application performance and reliability Required Qualifications Meet educational requirements (see education section) Preferred Qualifications • Have demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include: active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects • Have internship, work, or project experience in related field of Healthcare Technology • Show strong written and verbal communication skills • Possess problem solving skills • Exhibit an analytical and growth mindset • Have project management experience • Have an interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation • Have experience with some of the following: • Application, web/mobile, API, integration and platform development • Java, Python, JavaScript, React/Angular, Typescript, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Git, CI/CD, microservices and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), C++, Kotlin (Android), Swift (iOS) • AI & Automation: Hands-on experience with, or strong
