About the role
About the Role
As the Director of EMEA Field Enablement, you hold a high-impact role at the intersection of strategy and field execution. Rubrik is growing quickly, and the field needs a leader who can connect global corporate strategy with the realities of selling across EMEA’s different markets, buying cultures and levels of maturity.
You will own the readiness and productivity of the EMEA sales organization. You’ll architect and scale enablement programs, from onboarding for new hires through to advanced value selling for tenured sellers. The goal is that every Account Executive can clearly communicate Rubrik’s Zero Trust Data Security and AI-driven resilience story to the organizations, from hospitals to governments to financial institutions, that rely on us to keep operating.
You’ll work directly with the GVP of EMEA and regional sales leaders, with the backing of Global Enablement and the autonomy to decide what your theater needs. What you build will show up in ramp time, win rates and quota attainment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Executive Partnership
• Executive Partnership: Act as the primary strategic partner to the GVP of EMEA, AVPs/RVPs and Regional Directors, tying enablement priorities and KPIs directly to regional revenue targets.
• Regional Strategy & Roadmap: Build and own the EMEA enablement roadmap, aligned to Global Enablement programs and shaped by leadership input and needs analysis, so investment goes where the biggest gaps are.
• Localized Execution: Translate global initiatives into regional results by adapting content, examples and delivery to local market conditions and business cultures across EMEA.
• Gap Analysis: Run regular assessments of the sales team’s skills and performance to identify readiness gaps early, and close them before they show up in the forecast.
Program Development & Delivery
• Program Development & Delivery: Design and deliver enablement in region for both ramping and ramped sellers, from foundational onboarding to advanced value selling.
• Onboarding: Reinforce and extend the global onboarding journey in EMEA, track ramp progress and validate capstones, so new hires reach productivity faster.
• Methodology Mastery: Drive adoption of Rubrik’s sales methodology (MEDDPICC, Command of the Message) so pipeline qualification and deal execution are consistent across every region and segment.
• Coaching Enablement: Equip front-line sales leaders to reinforce learning through coaching, using AI-assisted coaching tools where they add value.
Metrics & Operational Excellence
• Data-Driven Insights: Track, analyze and report on the impact of enablement programs using CRM (Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (Clari).
• KPI Ownership: Measure success through quota attainment, win rates and the adoption of new product plays, and report on them candidly to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
• Experience: 10+ years in Sales Enablement, a Sales role and/or Sales Leadership within a high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity environment.
• Leadership: 5 years leading sales teams, with a proven ability to lead through influence rather than authority.
• Program Design: A track record of building and scaling enablement programs, from onboarding through advanced selling, that measurably improved sales performance.
• Methodology: Hands-on experience driving adoption of a structured sales methodology such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
• Market Knowledge: A deep understanding of the EMEA sales landscape, regional business practices and the competitive cybersecurity market.
• Technical Stack: Proficiency with Salesforce and AI-forward CMS/LMS platforms. Experience with AI-assisted coaching tools is a significant advantage.
